Breaking the Chains: Mark Irvine
On Thursday 6th October Shiloh had the privilege of having Mark Irvine give his testimony at the start of our Mission 'Breaking the Chains.'
It was an honest, heartfelt and heart-warming testimony to the saving grace of God.
Mark was consumed with alcoholism (drinking 40 bottles of red wine per week) and it stripped his life of almost everything.
We all laughed when he said he dreaded the bin men coming because you could hear his bin getting emptied for miles around.
Mark spoke about the emotional rollercoaster his life was, even though he realised how selfish he had become.
Then graciously God came to rescue Mark when he called out to him. Through the rooms of AA and the support of loving family members Mark was able to come to a place where he bowed the knee to the Lord and received him as his personal Saviour.
** We normally record the testimonies given at Shiloh but on this occasion the recording is considered too poor to upload for listening. We sincerely apologise for this.
Over the next three Thursday nights different men will tell of Jesus' chain-breaking love in their lives.
Why not come along and hear for yourself what knowing Jesus can do for others, and what he can do for others he can do it for you.
