Double Celebration of Thanksgiving

A double celebration of ‘Thanksgiving’ took place this afternoon in Shiloh Christian Fellowship. 

Along with numerous family members & other guests, Sophie & Emmett brought their two children, Yasmin  & Jamie to ask God’s blessing upon them & to give thanks to God for them. 

After welcoming everyone, Tatty spoke from God’s word (Psalm 139) how children are ‘marvellous works of the Lord’ for which we should all give thanks. 

Tatty then prayed for God’s help & blessing upon the parents, before giving thanks to God for Yasmin & Jamie & asking that the Lord would make them ‘thankful children, because thankful children radiate happiness.’

Tatty then invited Yasmin & Jamie’s guardians Samantha & George to step forward & prayed for them that the Lord would bless them & help them to fulfil their roles which is to help ensure the children are always loved & cared for.
