Marriage of Stanley & Rhona

This time there was no storm!

This afternoon I finally got to conduct the Marriage Service for Stanley & Rhona at Carnalea Golf Club.
Their original date to be married was changed when storm ‘Eowyn’ prevented their venue from opening as it was considered a 'risk to life.'
Today had some solemnity & yet some light relief it had finally happened. It was an informal occasion with a lot of laughs, jokes and really good humour.

As usual, Mark Tatty Gordon spoke a short gospel message from the Bible, this time it was about the meaninglessness of life without love, without the love of Jesus. He sought to encourage not only the Bride and Groom to know Jesus, but he extended his message to all the guests, inviting them to put their trust in Jesus that they too may one day be at the marriage of Jesus to His Bride.

At the end of the service Mark Tatty Gordon offered congratulations to both Stanley & Rhona.
