Ollie Matteo Hawthorn Thanksgiving Ceremony

Malone House, Barnetts Demesne, Belfast was the venue today for the Thanksgiving Ceremony for Ollie Matteo Hawthorn.
When Tatty arrived at the venue, a place he had never been to before, he was pleasantly surprised by the lush surroundings and prestigious building.
Guests had gathered earlier and enjoyed an array of freshly prepared food and beverages.
Shown into what is the Harberton Room, Tatty was greeted by family and friends of Mark & Kayleigh, parents of little Ollie.
Made most welcome and invited to partake of the food, allowed for a few restful minutes before the ceremony began.

Tatty thanked Mark & Kayleigh for inviting him to conduct the ceremony today and began by reading the famous Aaronic blessing in Numbers 6.
Telling those gathered that God is a God of love who loves to bless, Tatty explained that Ollie is one of God’s many blessings to his parents; just as we too at one time were God’s blessing to our parents.
He explained that God, who is rich in mercy, extends that mercy and grace to all people, in the hope they will come to know Him and His love.
But the greatest blessing of all is given to us through Jesus God’s Son. Through Jesus, by faith in Him, those who turn from their sin and believe in Him are reconciled to God, are forgiven and have everlasting life.

In the blessing prayed / spoken over Ollie’s life, Tatty asked the Lord to bless and keep him, to keep Ollie secure in His love, to make His face to shine upon him, that he might prosper in all his ways, and to grant him grace and peace.
He then prayed that Mark & Kayleigh would receive all the help they need from the Lord to be the best parents they can be, to help them raise Ollie in a home filled with love, care and compassion.

Praying for the guardians Josh and Zoe, Tatty asked the Lord to enable, equip and empower them to keep the promise they made today, to help Mark and Kayleigh love and care for their precious gift – Ollie.

A beautiful venue, a beautiful event with beautiful people, a beautiful child Ollie and a most beautiful Lord who created Him and gave him as a special possession to his parents.
What a wonderful, beautiful, loving God who just loves to bless us.
