Rosa Sophie Nicola Billie Cook Thanksgiving Service

This afternoon Mark Tatty Gordon conducted Shiloh’s last Thanksgiving Service for 2023.

Family & friends gathered at ‘Romas’, Newtownards, where the event took place.

Invited y Rosa’s Mum & Dad (Abbie & Stephen) to officiate, Tatty spoke from Psalm 127 about how Rosa belongs to God, but He entrusted her to her parents to love & care for her. God gives children as His inheritance to parents that they might raise them in love, care & protection until they reach adulthood. God holds all parents to account for how they have stewarded His gifts.

Tatty prayed for Rosa that she would come to know & love the Lord from an early age, & that she would live her life to the glory of God.

Tatty also prayed for Rosa’s parents, Stephen & Abbie that God would enable them to do all they can to raise Rosa in love, always assuring her she is greatly loved & cherished.

The ‘guardians’: Sophie, Rachel, Ryan & David, stepped forward to make their commitment to help Abbie & Stephen to raise Rosa. Again, Tatty prayed God would hold them to their promise & bless them for doing so.

Before the families & friends enjoyed the celebrations, they were reminded they were once children given by God to their parents & they should therefore acknowledge God and give their lives back to Him by trusting in His Son Jesus.
The service ended when Tatty prayed that all who were gathered there would come to know Jesus as their Saviour & Lord.
