Shiloh Myanmar Support Network
According to Human Rights Watch, since staging a coup in 2021, the Myanmar military is allegedly responsible for a brutal nationwide crackdown on millions of people opposed to its rule. The junta security forces have carried out mass killings, arbitrary arrests, torture and other abuses that amount to crimes against humanity.
As a result, many people are left in abject poverty, facing ongoing struggles to survive. For some people, food supplies can be difficult to obtain and individuals and families find it increasingly difficult to manage on a day to day basis.
Shiloh Christian Fellowship has a small number of individuals who have expressed an interest in offering some support. The support given may not change the situation for Myanmar in general but it can help change an individual’s or family’s situation through the simple provision of a few basic supplies.
In our 'Gallery' section of this website you can view some recent photographs sent to us to show some of those who received help. We post these with permission from those recipients of our support, but we do so, not for recognition of our mission but for recognition of the plight of these people and also to demonstrate to our donors that their gifts are being used appropriately in accordance with their wishes.
Thank you to our friends in Myanmar who purchase and deliver the food on our behalf.
All of the people who received support asked our Myanmar team to pass on their sincere thanks for the provisions they received.
Please pray for the people in Myanmar that the Lord would help them and bring peace again to their land.
**Further support was delivered to needy people in November and we're thankful to our contacts for the work they do distributing the supplies.**
