Statement by Shiloh Overseeing Committee
Shiloh’s Overseeing Committee met on Wednesday 24th June to frame a pathway plan to reintroduce attended Sunday morning services at Shiloh.
Although government has agreed places of worship can reopen from 29th June, there has been no further guidelines to date. As a precaution the Committee has decided the following course of action.
From Sunday 5th July 2020 a selected number of people will be invited each week, on a rotational basis to attend the service, which will continue in the present format used for Facebook Livestreaming.
If you receive an invitation, you cannot enter the premises before 10.45am, and will be expected to hand sanitise and take your appointed seat, in accordance with social distancing measures.
There will be no access to kitchen facilities!
Services commence at 11.00am, and on completion people will be expected to leave the premises and the car park observing social distancing measures.
If you HAVE NOT received an invitation we would ask that you DO NOT arrive seeking admission, as you may be offended should you be turned away.
**People invited to attend will be informed a week in advance.
VISITORS
If you are interested in attending one of our services, we have made provision for a small number of visitors, however, you must seek to inform us in advance of your interest to attend so that we can ensure a place for you.
You can contact us via Facebook, Messenger, our website or email address.
If on any week the visitor capacity is full, we will advise you of the first available opportunity.
These measures are for a limited period only or until we are able to open fully, welcoming any and all who wish to attend.
Shiloh’s Overseeing Committee recognises this plan won’t satisfy everyone and some may be offended, however our aim is to do what is necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of those coming to worship with us.
Thank you
