Thanksgiving Service for Junior Chapman

God blessed Shiloh yet again by allowing us the privilege to conduct another Thanksgiving Service. 

Today’s celebration was for Junior Chapman, son of John and Kirby. 

Mark Tatty Gordon welcomed the many guests including family and friends. 

He spoke on Ecclesiastes 3 about a purpose for everything in life, but that the greatest purpose of all people is to glorify God and enjoy Him. 

He said Junior proves God’s love for us all but also demonstrates that we were created to honour God.

Sin ruined our ability to glorify God and so Jesus came to open the way for us to draw near to our Creator and glorify Him. 

After praying the Lord’s blessing on Junior and his parents, Tatty then gave thanks to God for Katie and Aaron who stood with the family as ‘Guardians’ to Junior. 

A New Testament was presented and the service ended with another song then a final blessing.
