Thanksgiving for Ollie Harper

Mark Tatty Gordon was invited to conduct a ‘Thanksgiving Service’ this afternoon for little Ollie Harper, son of John & Kyla. 

Gathered in their home where the short service took place, were family & friends, coming together to celebrate the ‘heritage’, the ‘reward’ (Ollie) given temporarily to John & Kyla.
By ‘given temporarily’ it means they must lovingly provide for him until he can be independent. 

Tatty told everyone, Psalm 127 speaks of children being a heritage, a reward from the Lord.
But the Lord will hold accountable those whom He has given stewardship to, including the ‘guardians’ (godparents) who promised to love Ollie & support his parents to meet his needs. 

It was a warm, pleasant & friendly atmosphere as Tatty gave thanks to God & asked His rich blessings on Ollie & his loved ones.
